On December 19, Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs agreed on creating a labor force to work abroad for a definite time with the Tracodi labor Export Joint Stock Company (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
Signing to create a labor force to work abroad for a period time
Long An has a total population of nearly 1.7 million people, of which the number of the economically active community is about 900,000 people or 53% of the city. Recently, the provincial People’s Council approved the Resolution on a policy of supporting loans for the worker who had employment contracts in the province in the period of 2020-2025.
According to the Resolution, the maximum loan amount is 100% of the working abroad fee under the contract signed between the worker and the service enterprise or non-business organization sending the worker to work abroad after subtracting the borrowings from the central capital. It is considered a first-class condition to promote labor export.
Long An’s business team visiting Tracodi
At the end of 2017, the Tracodi labor Export Joint Stock Company was established based on splitting from the labor export division under Transport and Industrial Development Investment Joint Stock Company (Tracodi). From 2017 to 2019, the Vietnam Association of labor Exporters has certified that the Tracodi labor Export Joint Stock Company gains a 5-star rating on the implementation of the Code of Conduct applicable to Vietnamese enterprises sending laborers to work abroad.
From 2015 through 2019, Tracodi labor Export Joint Stock Company has sent its labor force with more than 5,000 Vietnamese workers, of which the labor-exporting workers are mainly Dong Thap and Vinh Long, while Long An occupy a minimal number.
Employees are on vocational training and foreign language to prepare for labor export.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Dinh – General Director of Tracodi labor Export Joint Stock Company committed to supporting Long An in organizing recruitment consultancy, receiving workers at the consultation session, coordinating to lead the Japanese Union to localities to directly recruit. Also, Tracodi brings officials and teachers whose professionally proficient at guiding workers before interviewing; create conditions for the laborer to learn foreign languages, professional preparation before participating in interviews.
Salary, cost, contract period depends on the order, before interviewing, the employee will be explicitly consulted, clearly, and transparently by Tracodi about salary, job, insurance regime, and traveling expenses.
Nguyen Hong Mai- Director of Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, supposed that: “Implementing the labor export project, more than 1000 employees in Long An will have the opportunity to work overseas annually. Therefore, the agreement between the Department of Labor, War Invalids, Social Affairs, and Tracodi labor Export Joint Stock Company to create a labor force that works abroad for a limited time is an essential condition for labor export promotion. Both Long An and Tracodi are hoped to have good coordination in labor export in the future.
