(ĐTCK) Business Association of Long An organized the 3rd Congress, term 2019 – 2024 with the slogan “Solidarity – Development – Integration” on November 29, 2019 in Tan An city, Long An province.

At the congress, Provincial Party Committee – Mr. Pham Van Rach, Chairman of Long An People’s Committee- Mr. Tran Van Can joined with former provincial leaderships, represented of board, department, ward and 500 representative companies in Long An.

Now, Long An province is having 11.200 enterprises which registered with charter capital is nearly VND 300.000 billion.

These enterprises have well implemented industrial and agricultural extension policies, promoted the development of tourism and service industries, developed the domestic market as well as the campaign “Vietnamese people use Vietnamese goods”.

Long An business association has more than 200 official members. Over the year, it has played an important role in supporting business. Thereby, it is helping all members operate proactively, confidently and effectively in the process of improving competitiveness and pursuing the goals of each enterprise the trend in international economic integration development.

Long An Business Association confirmed that they would continue developing strongly, organizing member clubs; being a connection between businesses and government, businesses and businesses; as well as better supervisor, reporter and propose the idea for Ward, Province to adjust the policy, to innovate administrative formalities, protect the companies interest; social responsibility.

At the congress, the new term Executive Committee was appointed with 34 members. Mr. Vo Quoc Thang- Chairman of Dong Tam Joint Stock Company was re-elected to the position of Chairman of Long An Business Association session III, term 2019 – 2024. Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam – Chairman of Bamboo Capital Group was elected to hold the position of Vice President in charge of International Relations and Trade Promotion of Long An Business Association.

At the congress, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council – Mr. Pham Van Ranh highly appreciated the Association’s contributions to the socio-economic development process of Long An province over the past time.

With the results achieved by the business and enterprise community, he believes that in the new term, the Association will continue developing in both quality and quantity, making the Association a common home for the business community; supporting each other for development; calling businesses to invest in the province to develop together.

Mr. Vo Quoc Thang – Chairman of Long An Business Association session III, term 2019 – 2024 received the mission and spoke at the conference.

In particular, the Association have to continue coordinating with local authorities in order to improve of the business and investment environment; being the connection between local governments and the business community; gathering the strength of enterprises to do business effectively together; contributing to create motivation for socio-economic development in the province.

Mr. Vo Quoc Thang claim that the Association agreed to build directions to get the target base on “Solidarity – Development – Integration” in the new term. The Association determined that they would continue innovating strongly and strengthen the association to gather enterprises in the province; sharing community responsibility, solidarity, supporting each other for development.

The Association aims to develop more than 250 new businesses to increase the total of members to 500 members in the end of the term; 6 new branch associations or branch groups; organize meetings between members and provincial leaders; trading and connecting between enterprises of Long An province and other provinces; organizing social security activities.

On this occasion, the Association awarded VND 200 million to donate for the poor through the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Long An Province and VND 500 million equivalent to 100 grants for poor patients being treated at Market Hospital. Total value of VND 700 million.

Long An Business Association was established under Decision No. 1740 / QD-UBND dated July 2, 2007 of Long An Hiep Provincial People’s Committee, a member of the Long An Fatherland Front, operating within the framework of its charter approved by competent authorities, complying with the constitution and laws.

This is a social – professional organization with the purpose of operating in order to gather strength, connect businesses and support each other to operate effectively; exchanging experience in management, administration, engineering, science and technology, … aiming to expand the market of business activities, promote the integration of enterprise development, contribute to the socioeconomic development of Long An province.
