On December 21st, 2017, Bamboo Capital JSC (BCG) announced that it has successful issued approximately 113 billion VND worth of corporate bonds to 3 major Korean partners including Chosun Refractories, Daewon, and Woomi Construction.

With the intention to bring the highest return to the company’s shareholders and investors, BCG will focus on developing real estate projects in Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Nam Province and Da Nang with the most competitive cost of capital. Therefore, the company has approached foreign investors, especially those Korean corporations who show interests in Vietnam market and wish to cooperate with BCG. After several meetings and discussions, Chosun Refractories, Daewon, and Woomi Construction have decided to purchase almost 113 billion VND worth of corporate bonds issued by BCG, with a fixed interest rate of 6% per annum and a maturity of 3 years. The proceeds will be used to finance the real estate projects mentioned above.

With their vast experience, these corporations has committed to adding values and bringing international standards to help BCG execute its real estate projects. Specifically, real estate projects in Quang Nam Province and Da Nang are expected to start in early 2018 with an estimated construction schedule of 18 months. Once they are under operation, these projects are forecast to bring significant earnings to the company’s revenue structure. BCG is currently working with BAKH Architecture, a reputable international design firm, and has basically completed the projects’ master plans on schedule.

Chosun Refractories was established in 1947 in Korea, specializing in refractory materials and has acquired more than 99% of domestic market share. Chosun Refractories is currently exporting to the UK, Italy, India and Europe as well as expanding its sales network to the USA, Canada, Mexico and other South African countries.
