The five candidates are : Mr. Anthony Lim; Mr Barry Richard Pettitt, Ph.D Dang Viet Bich, Mr Bui Thanh Lam and Mrs Dao Thi Thanh Hien.
1.Mr Anthony Lim
Mr Anthony Lim has more than 30 years of experience in the retail, wholesale, export and import business. He currently is the Chairman of Sam Corp – a private investment company operating in various industries with its headquarters located in Samoa. Samcorp has made strategic investments in entertainment with movie theater chains in Los Angeles, USA, and Shanghai, together with its feet in real estate, textile and financial investments throughout Singapore, USA and China.
Mr Anthony Lim holds a Ph.D in Entrepreneurship awarded by Wisconsin International University, USA and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Administration from the University of East London, U.K. He was a professional member of Certified General Accountants of Canada and Certified Management Accountants of Canada. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Singapore and England.
2.Mr Barry Richard Pettitt
Mr. Pettit has more than 30 years of experience within the consumer electronics industry, during which time he successfully started a specialist supply chain management services company, ISO International (Holdings) Ltd., which was subsequently purchased by a Hong Kong Public Company for HK$ 155,000,000 in 2003. In addition, he has managed a number of Public Company divisions (in the capacities of President and Managing Director) and recently successfully relisted a Hong Kong Public Company, Vision Tech Ltd., as its CEO in 2007. From 2009 until now, he is the Chairman cum CEO of Ross Group Plc- a UK based holding company with a full main board London Stock Exchange listing (Ross Group Symbol: RGP). The group has a long history dating back to 1918 in engineering, distribution of branded consumer electronic, electrical and energy related products. The present activities of the group are currently supply chain management services in these product categories.
3.Ph.D Dang Viet Bich
PhD Dang Viet Bich is a member of Advisoty Board since April.2015
He used to hold the position of Deputy Head of Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Art. He is one of the most popular professors who educate many generation of Ph D, Bachelor, and had had significant contributions to researches and teaching processes in at Ha Noi Cultural University since 1964 to 2000. From 1999 – 2013, he was the chairman of “Building programs and curriculum for managing Cultures and Arts” project of Ha Noi Cultural University, sponsored by FORD Foundation
During his time of research and teaching, Mr. Dang announced more than 8 scientific topics, 200 news articles, and speech in specialized magazines, and published 6 books, all with the content about Vietnam Culture.
He is honored to receive many noble medals of Vietnam Government such as: Medal for Education (1995), Memorial Medal for Social Science (2003), Medal for Literaly Arts (2004), Medal of Labour No.2 (2011).
4.Mr Bui Thanh Lam
Lam is the Member of the Board of Supervisor of BCG since April 2015.
Before joining BCG, Lam used to be senior advisor about Vietnam for Euro Amstrust, a finance, insurance, and real estate investment corporation, with HQ in London, UK.
In addition, Lam also maintains a wide relationship with other international investors in UK, US, Holland, Japan and Korea
He is now serves as Chairman via Chief Executive Officer of Thai Son Sai Gon Company.
Lam earned his BA in International Relations of Dong Do University, Hanoi and MA in Huron University, London, UK.
5.Mrs Dao Thi Thanh Hien
Mrs Hien is capable of managing, analyzing, assessing investment and business operations. Mrs Hien is now member of Advisory Board of Transport and Industry Development Investment Joint Stock Company (Tracodi).
Mrs Hien received her Master of Laws.
