It is with great sadness Bamboo Capital Group announces that Mr. Kou Kok Yiow (Chris), Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Capital Group, has passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack on March 8th, 2025, at the age of 63-year-old. The funeral is held in Singapore. Chris is survived by his wife and three sons.

Bamboo Capital Group employees and colleagues mourn this tragic loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with Chris’s wife and his family. Our deepest sympathies go out to them.

Mr. Kou Kok Yiow had been a dedicated companion of Bamboo Capital Group since its inception, previously serving as an Advisor and member of the Supervisory Board. On April 27th, 2024, he was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors. Bamboo Capital Group honors his invaluable contributions and lasting legacy to the Group, its shareholders, and employees.
