Soc Trang authorities have allowed Bamboo Capital JSC to conduct a pre-feasibility study for the construction of Road 935C, an important project expected to boost local economic development.

Bamboo will carry out the study together with the Transport and Industry Development Investment JSC (TCD), its partner in the proposed project.

Soc Trang Chairman Tran Van Lau asked revevant departments to provide information and guide the BCG-TCD partnership in conducting the pre-feasibility study.

Provincial Road 935C will play a significant role in boosting the socio-economic development of the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang. It was proposed by the BCG-TCD venture to be developed in the form of public-private partnership (PPP).

The road will be 39 kilometers long and 27.5 meters wide, with six lanes and a design speed of 80 kph.

The project, with a total investment of VND4,960 billion ($211.77 million), will be implemented in the period 2022-2026.
