(BCG) - On June 17, the Bamboo Foundation under Bamboo Capital Group (BCG) donated VND 500 million to the Fatherland Front Committee of Thao Dien ward, Thu Duc city to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic.

BCG is a multi-industry corporation, operating in four main areas: renewable energy, infrastructure and real estate, construction and commerce, manufacturing and agriculture. As an enterprise oriented to develop business activities that must be associated with community development and social work, from the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic up to now, BCG has sponsored many provinces to fight against the pandemic.

Previously, BCG donated 1 billion VND and 10,000 vaccines worth 5 billion VND to Long An Province's Covid-19 Vaccine Fund; Donated VND 1 billion for the Covid-19 vaccine fund in Binh Dinh province, VND 500 million for Quang Ngai province. All employees of BCG also agreed to deduct 1 day's salary to support the Vietnam vaccine fund of 1 billion VND. BCG is also one of the pioneers in sponsoring Covid-19 vaccine vaccination for employees working at the group and their relatives.
