(BCG) On May 27, 2019 in Seoul, South Korea, promoting investment promotion between Vietnamese and Korean business communities, Phu Yen People’s Committee in coordination with the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea, Bamboo Capital Group and the Asian Business Alliance (ABA) successfully organized a conference to connect Korean businesses to Phu Yen province. This is the following of the success of the Korean business investment conference held in Ho Chi Minh City last April.
Attending the conference, there were comrades: Luong Minh Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Dai Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and leaders of the Departments of Construction, Planning and Investment, Culture and Information, Foreign Affairs and Son Hoa district. On the Korean side, there are more than 70 businesses and corporations attending, including large corporations operating in Vietnam such as Korea Forest Service, Hyundai Steel, Hansol Development, Chosun Biz, Federation of Middle Market Enterprise of Korea. , POSCO C&C. On the side of BCG Group, there were the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam – Chairman and leaders of affiliated member companies such as Tracodi, Tapiotek, Resort Casa Marina.
Phu Yen province is prioritizing the development of industry and bringing services and tourism to become a key economic sector of the province. The province has a strategic and favourable geographical position, diverse and abundant natural resources to develop marine economy, tourism, logistics, renewable energy development, high-tech agriculture … In 2019 and in the following years, the province prioritizes in-depth investment, application of new technologies and automatic technologies in industries. Developing a number of supporting industries, the energy industry, agro-forestry-fishery processing industry.
On this occasion, Tracodi JSC – a member company of Bamboo Capital Group also signed a memorandum of understanding with SungPoong Company (Korea) to combine developing construction technology, consulting supply chain, equipment for Tracodi’s upcoming projects and traffic works.

At the recent 2019 AGM, Tracodi approved the plan for 2019 with net revenue target of VND 1,053 billion, up 20% compared to 2018; after-tax profit of nearly 87 billion, up nearly 6%; 20% dividend. In the revenue structure of 2019, infrastructure construction and real estate projects are expected to contribute 436 billion dong, stone exploitation is 320 billion dong, commercial business is 285 billion dong, labor export is accounted for VND 12 billion.
