DT830 Route Upgrade & Expanding Project is an important phase in traffic planning from Duc Hoa District to Long An International Port. The road construction was implemented from Duc Hoa Town, Duc Hoa District to An Thanh Bridge, Ben Luc District. The length of DT 830 Road is about 55 km with a total investment of 2000 billion VND and divided into 3 segments corresponding to 3 projects.

There are a section from Duc Hoa Town to An Thanh Bridge – Ben Luc District and another section of Provincial Road 824. It has a total investment of 1000 billion VND, a length of 23 km, the design speed of 80 km/h, the limit speed of 60 km/h in the urban area, a single-axis design load of 12 tons, following to urban street standards and 3rd graded delta road. The project is contributed by 15% equity and 85% loans.

The second section (Ben Luc – National Highway 50) crossing Can Duoc District, Can Giuoc District and Ben Luc District has 18.24 km in length. In addition, a 1km route through Ben Luc town is particularly built based on urban street standards. The third section (National Highway 50 – Long An International Port) has the length of 12.7 km. The first stage is to ensure four traffic lanes and then land clearance process will be conducted to widen pavement to 32m.

Furthermore, many industrial parks are built and put into operation in this area such as Tan Binh Industrial Park, Vinh Loc Industrial Park, Tay Bac Cu Chi Industrial Park, Duc Hoa II – III Industrial Park, Xuyen A Industrial Park, Nhi Xuan Industrial Park, Hoang Gia Industrial Park …

Deputy Director of Department of Transport Long An, Mr. Van Chinh Nguyen said that the route was expanded to build an important bridge between industrial zones and Long An International Port to promote the economic development in Long An Province. The Transport Department expects to boost the land clearance process to complete the project on time, especially when the Long An International Seaport officially put into operation. This route will lead to the development of residential areas and the sustainability of urban development in the future.

According to experts, many customers and investors are tending to focus on urban areas near Ho Chi Minh City such as Duc Hoa District and Can Giuoc District ( Long An Province ) because of their competitive land price, availability of major national traffic projects, fresh environmental conditions and especially convenient location near Ho Chi Minh City center.

Senior Consultant of Global Integration Business Consultants (GIBC), Mr. Phuoc Nghia Huynh said: “The land price of some locations near Saigon is in an unpredictable escalating situation “. He said that some areas in Dong Nai Province and Long An Province, except Binh Duong Province, had a significant increase in land in the last 6-12 months.

According to Mr. Huynh, the capability of infrastructures also affects the land price in Long An Province. The more connectivity between adjacent areas and urban areas, the more land price rises higher. The infrastructure of Ho Chi Minh City connecting to neighboring provinces has become an undeniable advantage to attracting investors and promote local economic growth.

Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway connects with Long An Province on DT830 Route.

This is an important area due to many industrial parks and available ports.

Road 830 is being expanded and connecting directly with highways.

According to Project Management Unit, the land clearance process is boosted to complete the entire route by the end of the year.

The route was expanded to build an important bridge between industrial zones and Long An International Port to promote the economic development in Long An Province.
