Mr. Michael Dang
As Vice Chairman of BCG Land, Mr. Dang Dinh Tuan (Michael) advices on Company’s strategy, project development, market positioning and branding. He is also actively involved in major acquisitions and value realizations which is one of the core competences of BCG Land. Michael has extensive experience in Real Estate industry in Vietnam. He is the founder of Anpha Holdings and M.I.K Corporation – leading real estate developers in Vietnam. He is also pioneer in Smart City Development and Application of I.O.T in property development industry. Michael is appraised “CEO of the Year – 2021” by Le Fonti International Award (Italy) and several prestigious international awards. Prior to joining BCG Land, Michael has broad international business exposure in over 125 cities of 25 countries including of USA, Europe, Australia, Gulf and India, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Vietnam while he looked after global operation and business development in CapitaLand Limited (Singapore), Ascott Limited (Singapore), and senior BOD’s advisor in Hoa Binh Corporation (Vietnam).
In concurrence with his entrepreneurship excellence, Michael also spend a lot of time contributing to academic works. Currently, Michael serves as member of Cornell University Council (USA) and CUHK Dean’s Advisory Board (Hong Kong). For his excellence in academic contribution, Michael is named for “Dr. Michael Dang Cornell Undergraduate / Post Graduate Scholarships” and “Dr. Michael Dang – Director of Cornell Hotel Research Center”. Startler’s Hotel School Conference Hall, Library Office, and Faculty Office in Cornell University are also named after him. Besides, Michael is also lecturer for Cornell Dean’s Distinguished Lecture Series, CUHK Dean’s Distinguished Lecture Series, Keynote Speaker for East Carolina University Conference (USA), Guest Lecture for Yale University (USA) & Nanyang Business School (Singapore) and Special Guest-speaker for Blackrock Inc. (USA) webcast interview series. Michael is Case Sponsor, Case Writer and Judge for Cornell’s International Real Estate Case Competition in Asia.
As Gifted ASEAN scholar, Michael graduated from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) with first-class-honor degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Michael received International Young Inventor Award and Vietnam President’s Award. Taking the inaugural Philip Yeo’s CapitaLand scholarship, Michael attended Master of Management in Hospitality in Cornell University. Michael selected PhD of General Management in Singapore Management University as a part of his lifelong learning journey.
His interest in wine collection made his French wine import business being largest in Vietnam.
